This is an interesting idea. Aren't many of the JMU Transit buses powered by LP gas, Propane, or Natural Gas?

What is the cost per mile of these vehicles in real dollars by using Natural Gas?

Is the attempt to use household propane simply a way to pay somewhat less for the fuel because it is not traditionally used for vehicles?

I happen to know that Propane can be very volatile if mixed at about 15% propane and the rest Air, and then ignited with a bright spark, so it would seem like a good fuel for automobiles.
